Ginetta was never in it for the mass market. They built race cars and road cars for purists. Founded by the Walklett brothers, Ginetta made a name on track first and then brought that same race-bred engineering to the road. And for a short but brilliant period in the early ’90s, their home was right here in Witham — making this particular car not just rare, but locally historic.
Under the skin, the G32 is powered by a Ford 1. 6-litre CVH engine — the same reliable unit found in XR3is and other fast Fords of the era. But here it’s mounted midship, paired to a 5-speed gearbox, and wrapped in a lightweight fibreglass body that keeps the weight down to under 900kg. That means lively performance, a brilliant balance through the corners, and a real old-school driving feel — no artificial filters, no nonsense, just raw mechanical connection.
