1979 MGB Roadster in original colour of Vermillion Red
* Original rosstyle wheels from the factory are in good condition and are shod with good quality radials all round with approx 8mm of tread . The spare having never been used.
The convertible hood is in excellent condition and has a half tonneau cover for when the roof is down
* Leather seats are in great condition with no stains or tears replaced in 2009.
* Carpet is also excellent , this was replaced in 2015.
* Gauges and dials are all working.
* Original engine and gearbox running very smoothly and starts 1st turn of the key. Overdrive is functioning correctly and is a joy to drive on the open road. Kept up to date with mot schedule , though not a requirement gives confidence to a well maintained classic .
* New clutch in June 2024.
* Master cylinder was replaced in 2022.
* New steering gaiters.
* Door seals have been replaced
* New overdrive in 2020.
* Lots of money spent keeping this classic in top condition both mechanically and cosmetically . History file is extensive with many receipts and around 41 old mot certificates etc etc.
* Around 41 consecutive MOT certificates.
New brake pads and brake overhaul completed May 2025
Bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition as is the whole car.
Engine / engine bay are super clean with no leaks to be seen.
This MG is ready to go and a very inexpensive car to run.
