This Jaguar XK150 has recently come out of long term dry storage, where it has resided for approximately 40 years!
It is selling as a restoration project which is 99% complete, rolls freely and we have now had the engine running.
The chassis looks to be solid, and we believe the original colour to be mist grey but we are awaiting the Heritage Certificate to confirm the details.
The only part that seems to be missing is the lower chrome trim for the front windscreen. The radiator and hoses have been removed and are currently in the boot of the Jaguar.
The interior can only be described as remarkable, for the time it has been stood, and it's also in a very original condition.
The ignition key is with the classic.
We are currently in the process of re-registering the vehicle with DVLA, as the classic has fallen off of their system, as it was never re-registered when DVLA centralised and changed to the computer based system in Swansea.
The car will be supplied with a V5 document and also a Heritage Certificate upon purchase.
The XK150 is a UK home market vehicle with over drive fitted.
We believe the car to have been sold by SMT & Co. LTD, Carlisle, Whitehaven and we believe the vehicle has stayed in the Cumbria area all of its life.
We are awaiting the exact registration date from the Heritage certificate.
