1993 - Mercedes-Benz 260 E Limousine Erratum: Front right turn signal unit missing (lost on the road on the way to the show!). Chassis: WDB1240271B596744 French registration View the manual: Before the Mercedes Vito, there was the 260 E Limousine! In 1993, the Mercedes-Benz 260 E Limousine became the rarest of the W124s, with only 193 produced by the factory. The model presented here was delivered new to the Mercedes-Benz Longchamps dealership in Paris. Ordered new by Auto France, a company specializing in luxury car rentals for luxury hotels and major business firms, it was one of the cars used at the Ritz, providing airport transfers for hotel guests. With just over 193, 000 km on the odometer (certified by Histovec), it's in fine overall condition. The bodywork has been given a good quality coat of paint and the interior is flawless, in keeping with the brand's reputation. In 2007 the car was converted to LPG, a modification since withdrawn, and in 2016 it will join the collection of a marque enthusiast in the Meuse department. Sold with its manuals and service booklet, this limousine has benefited from recent expenses to ensure its smooth running. Rare because of its production, it embodies a certain idea of top-of-the-range transport in the 1990s... at a time when Mercedes Vito vans didn't yet exist!
