Vehicle history:
This Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster was completed on 10 March 1956 at the Stuttgart plant. Delivery was to Auto Henne in Munich. Factory specification had the car left in Strawberry Red Metallic (543) with a black hardtop. The interior was Cream and the soft top was beige. Eight years ago the previous owner bought the car in a completely restored condition. During the restoration the 190 SL was repainted to black and fitted with a dark red leather interior. The soft top is now also dark red. In 2025 a completely rebuilt 2. 0‑litre engine with a rebuilt gearbox was installed. This makes the car feel noticeably more lively and run more smoothly. Since the restoration only 3, 685 kilometres have been covered in good weather. Engine and gearbox are backed by a one‑year warranty.
