The Triumph TR4 is one of the most desirable British roadsters of its era. Styled by the Italian master designer Giovanni Michelotti, it combined distinctive looks with rugged mechanicals.
Its 2. 1 litre long stroke four cylinder engine produced 105 bhp, giving the TR4 strong performance for its class. The model enjoyed considerable success in 1960s American touring car competition, including victory in the 1965 SCCA C Production National Championship, and it also competed in major European rallies such as the 1962/ 63 Tulip Rally, the 1962/ 63 Alpine Rally, the 1962/ 63 Liège–Sofia–Liège marathon, and the 1962/ 63 RAC Rally.
