Description
According to Jaguar Heritage, our car was delivered new in Montreal, Canada on 29 March 1967. We trace its history to the late 1980s, in the hands of John D. Warner in Ottawa, Ontario, not far from Montreal. In 1990 the current owner purchased it and shipped it back to France. It will be a highlight in the middle of his Jaguar collection, accompanying him on numerous rallies and receiving particular care, as evidenced by the comprehensive technical inspections and the very regular expert reports in the file. Its engine was rebuilt about 20, 000 km ago, and the car shows alignment and a patina that would make many recently restored cars pale by comparison. This Roadster is a real pleasure to drive. If you are looking for a usable E-Type for everyday use, which has preserved all of its original characteristics, you’ll have a hard time finding a better example than this one.
