This R 63 was acquired from a museum. The BMW dates from the year 1929. The heart of the R 63 is the M60SI engine. Even this pre war BMW already featured a pressurized oil circulation system. At that time most competitors still relied on a total loss lubrication system that had to be regulated by the rider because the oil was either discharged or burned.
The engine number falls within the range from 75001 to 76156. The frame number falls within the range from 20000 to 30600. This number falls belongs to the BMW R 63 model series.
After a long period of inactivity our restorer recommissions the BMW makes it roadworthy again and carries out maintenance and a thorough inspection.
