Description
The four-seater BMW 2002 Cabriolet with fully retractable roof was designed by Baur in Stuttgart for BMW and only built in 1971. The kerb weight was approx. 960 kg. The other technical data, dimensions and driving performance largely corresponded to the saloon. The full convertible was available as 1600-2 with a 1. 6-liter engine 63 kW (85 hp) and as 2002 with a two-liter engine and 74 kW (100 hp) in 1971. The total number of the full convertible version was 1892 vehicles, of which only 200 models were built with the 2-liter as 2002 convertible. This beige 2002 convertible has been completely restored, has a BMW certificate of authenticity and comes with a fresh MOT. A very rare BMW model which will definitely always remain a classic.
