The example, chassis no. 1R11666 with engine no. 7R 9261-9, was imported from the United States in the early 2000s and subsequently underwent a full restoration in Italy, completed before its registration in 2008.
After restoration the car was entered in the ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) and in 2010 it obtained the ASI Certificate, a certification recognising its historical authenticity and conformance to the original model specifications, a highly significant feature in the world of car collecting.
From the time of restoration the car has had only two owners and has covered around 3, 000 km, maintained with great care and subjected to all regular servicing.
