The model shown here is a January 1968 MG B in opper Red olour.
The bodywork paint has a uniform shade and the varnish shows excellent gloss.
After a professional orbital polish by our workshop, we noted a small scratch on the left front wing (1 cm), a paint defect on the passenger door lower edge and on the hood area as well as on the rear valance.
The chrome bumpers are correctly positioned and show light signs of oxidation.
The chrome front and rear bumper overriders show a few dings.
The grille shows a slight distortion.
The HELLA fog lamps are in good condition and fully functional.
The black faux leather hood is in excellent condition.
Fitting is easy and its seal meets era standards.
The windscreens are also in perfect condition.
This example is fitted with a black faux leather hood cover in good condition.
The 4 painted 14'' wire wheels and their chrome knock-offs are in good condition, with no dings or deformations.
The chrome rear right knock-off shows slight oxidation.
All four tyres will be replaced with new ones prior to delivery.
This example retains its spare wheel, jack, mallet and original hand crank.

Chassis:
On lifting, the shell is sound, with no visible accident damage or obvious structural corrosion.
The fundamentals: sills, floors, wheel arches, and longitudinals are in good order.
Usability reserve: we cannot guarantee these elements beyond their good visual and functional condition validated on road test and on the hoist.
During the dynamic test, no abnormal noises were detected from the body or suspension.
Braking is balanced with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front discs show 20% wear and pads under 20% wear.
Rear drums are fully functional with no seepage.
The roadworthiness check completed before delivery will confirm overall function.
Engine / Transmission:
The mechanics are flawless.
Compression tests and road test confirm a healthy engine.
The four-cylinder starts immediately, with no smoke or abnormal noises and a steady idle, as confirmed by the 3600 video with engine running at the start of the slideshow.
Oil pressure when cold is 60 psi at 800 rpm.
On the move, the engine revs freely with no stalling or overheating.
Additional oil cooler radiator strengthens mechanical reliability.
The gearbox is flawless.
All four gears engage and disengage smoothly, especially the synchromesh, except first gear which occasionally grinds on brisk driving.
This model is equipped with the desirable Overdrive.
It works perfectly and provides electric overdrive for the 4th gear.
Clutch bite is good.
As is common with this model, engine/ gearbox/ axle seals remain average.
