A magnificent & fully restored Packard in simply superb running condition. The current owner at some 90 years old has decided to part with it due to his advanced years. During his tenure a full engine rebuild has been undertaken running into tens of thousands of pounds for which eye watering bills are on file. As a result the car runs in complete silence with plenty of performance from the big 320cubic inch straight eight engine.
The exterior paint is maroon metallic in very very nice order thoughout. To the interior is brown suede to all the seating surfaces. Being a Packard (Ask the man who owns one) it has a full set of instrumentation set into the traditional Packard dash binnacle. The head was tightened down after the engine rebuild at 17, 000 miles & the odometer now shows just over 20, 000 miles. The paperwork includes a UK V5c document & also a copy of previous California title issued in 2014 at 15, 686 indicated mileage. The car has thus covwered just 5000 miles during the last 14 years.
This is a big imposing saloon in impeccable condition & is driving beautifully. It has been used sparingly by the current owner over the last 12 years for weekend trips into North Wales from the owners home near Chester where it may be viewed by appointment. Performance is well up to modern day traffic speeds with the car being more then comfortable & able to keep up with traffic to modern day speed limits.
