First registered on 1st June 1999, this Yamaha WR400F was purchased by Michael Brough on 30th October 2024. It is believed the previous owner was a Mr Townend of Tewkesbury, who acquired the machine from an Mr Bryceland of Stockport, apparently its original owner (the accompanying HPI report records two previous keepers). Mike was a keen and experienced rider, who is understood to have used the Yamaha across a wide range of terrain. As such, the cosmetic wear is entirely in keeping with a genuinely enjoyed and regularly used trail bike. The machine shows a number of scuffs, scratches and other signs of use consistent with its purpose as an off-road motorcycle.
The last MoT test was carried out on 29th November 2019, at which time the mileage was noted as 2, 456. The odometer currently displays a total of 2, 468 miles, suggesting very limited use since that date (ridden to the MoT test and back?) although the possibility of an inaccurate or faulty odometer reading cannot be discounted.
Following a period of inactivity, this motorcycle will require recommissioning and/ or restoration to a greater or lesser extent before returning to the road and thus is sold strictly as viewed. Prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves with regard to this motorcycle's completeness, history, authenticity, originality and mechanical condition prior to bidding (the engine turns over). The machine is offered with V5C Registration Certificate and photocopy old V5C.
