Introduced in 1962, el MGB Roadster disfrutó de una tirada de producción de dieciocho años. Con un manejo bien equilibrado y una buena velocidad, merecía el viejo eslogan de MG 'Safety Fast'. Finished in Tahiti blue with black leather interior, this MGB is said to be in very good order throughout and will be driven to the sale. Showing an indicated 58, 970 miles which the vendor considers to be correct, it was purchased by him in 2003 from the first UK keeper following registration in April 1997, the previous owner advising that he was told it was thought to be a ‘one owner vehicle’ when imported from California. Extensively waxoyled on purchase, it is described as driving like a sixty thousand mile car should and is thought to be fitted with a US specification high ratio diff and a stainless exhaust system. Accompanying paperwork includes a Heritage certificate, owners handbook, sundry invoices, purchase receipt, US service sticker dated 10-11-96 showing 46193 miles, old MOTs, Haynes Manual, MG service manual and US registration plates.
