1925 Riley 11. 9 side valve formal six light 'Chatsworth' saloon, reg. no. RP 925, chassis no. 3479, black and blue coachwork, long-term ownership with Dick Cresswell and his late twin brother David (48 years).
This handsome formal saloon was acquired by the Cresswell twins in 1978. It retains its original buttoned leather upholstery, which has been carefully conserved and has many delightful vintage features. It was having some minor work carried out, which included removing some floorboards just prior to David Cresswell's death in 2020, which will require finishing. It will also require some recommissioning, having had little use in recent times. It has a current V5 document, old-style logbook dating to the early 1930s and a quantity of old MOT certificates.
