This fantastic Spider 2000 Type 4 is finished in the rare and wonderful original colour Verde Inglese AR 306, combined with a tan (beige) interior featuring half‑leather seats and tan carpeting. The car is fitted with a black vinyl soft‑top and a tan hood cover. This wonderful Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider was delivered new in the Netherlands and has had only two enthusiast owners from new. The second owner has enjoyed the car since 27 March 1999. The car has driven 127, 702 kilometres from new and is in excellent condition. During the most recent services the following items were replaced: brake discs and pads, brake calipers, main springs, engine mounts, and the windscreen was renewed. The clutch cylinders were replaced, and the oil and filters were changed. Recently the car was fully resprayed, the interior was refurbished and recoloured, and the wheels were replaced with original Spider Type 4 alloy wheels. The Spider Type 4 is the final and most refined evolution of the classic 105/ 115‑series Spider before production ended in 1994. The Type 4 is characterised by a return to cleaner lines with a restyled front and rear. Technical upgrades included power‑assisted steering and an integrated Bosch fuel‑injection and ignition system. Between 1990 and 1994, 18, 456 examples of the Spider 2000 Type 4 were built. This wonderful example, finished in Verde Inglese, drives perfectly and will be a delightful companion on sunny days and unforgettable holiday journeys.
