Yamaha produced the concept CP250 Max ** design for their home-market audience, the response was so good they soon went into production.
Marketed as a tandem cruiser and powered by a single-cylinder 249cc engine and auto transmission
Power is circa 20bhp but the Max ** is more about design than speed
Built between 2005 and 2017 and sold into the Japanese domestic market
Rare to find outside Japan and sought-after by collectors and scooter enthusiasts alike
