Description
This vehicle is a real time capsule! It’s in remarkable original condition. The Buick Electra 225 was the brand’s flagship for several years, and the slogan “When better cars are built, Buick will build them” fits perfectly. 1970 saw the introduction of the Buick V8 455 engine, produced up to 1976. This Electra still has its original air conditioning, power windows, a power seat and an adjustable steering column, as well as an original **/ FM radio, a rear window demister, and many other factory-standard options. The original spare wheel is still in the boot and has never been used. This vehicle spent the last 14 years in a private collection in Washington before being kept in another collection in Ohio. It drives and brakes exactly like a well-maintained car, and everything works properly. One of the power window switches is a little temperamental due to its age. Documents dating from 2017 show that the fuel tank was cleaned, a new filter and a new fuel level sender were fitted, along with fresh spark plugs and a new exhaust manifold—installed a few hundred miles ago. Recently, a new fuel pump was also fitted. This Electra is perfect for a road trip—just imagine cruising the Route 66 in style, or taking the little ones (and ice creams). You really need to see and drive this magnificent Electra to fully appreciate it.
