Description
I’m offering an MG TD, built in 1950. Here is the owner’s original text:
“The car has been restored ‘frame off’ and since then has only been driven very little, and only in good weather. It drives very well. The paintwork and panel gaps are excellent. Since 16. 6. 2026 it has had a new valuation report with grade 2+ and a market value/ replacement value of €28, 000/€32, 900.
This MG TD is one of the first from 1950, still fitted with the very rare hole-free wheels. It has an MG XPAG engine with 1250 cc and 54 bhp.
I’ve owned the vehicle since 2004 and it’s been continuously registered. It has an MOT, H-plate registration and can be test-driven at any time. The car has always been well maintained and has just received new brakes at the rear (wheel brake cylinders, pads/ linings), a new fuel pump (original Lucas) and a new battery. Spares supply is very good thanks to companies such as Limora, Kischka, Angloparts, Mos sund and others.
I’m parting with the car for reasons of age, and because I still own 4 more MGs, which are later on—either in future or as an alternative—also available for sale.
If you’re interested, I’d be happy to send you more pictures or videos of the running engine.
Private sale through an intermediary, no guarantee and no warranty. Viewing by appointment.
All information is given without obligation and to the best of my knowledge and belief.”
