Vehicle History:
At the Geneva Motor Show in 1982, the Lamborghini Countach finally received the 5-litre engine for which it was originally conceived. This was the first model update for the Countach in four years, following the model's gradual development since the introduction of the production version in 1974.
The 5000S was originally called the 500S, but this new designation was somewhat misleading, as the new engine had a displacement of only 4754 cc. This meant the power output was 50 bhp higher than the previous 4-litre engine.
Some later models featured a new rear end with an extended trailing edge, which made the vehicle approximately one inch longer. Over a period of three years, 321 vehicles were produced.
