Our example was delivered new in November 1985 in the United States, then imported by us in 2025. Braking is powerful and perfectly balanced. It has been completely overhauled, with replacement of hoses, front and rear pads, master cylinder and rear calipers. The original chrome wheels look excellent and are fitted with new tyres for sale. The bodywork is preserved in its original paint. This presents a fine overall lustre whilst retaining a homogeneous patina, perfectly consistent with the vehicle's age. The car has been to the bodyshop to repaint the bonnet and boot lid; on that occasion the undersides were checked and are perfectly sound. The chrome is very well preserved, gleaming and adding to the car's charm. The havana MB-Tex interior looks excellent and fully contributes to the charm and authenticity of this example. The woodwork is well preserved, as are the carpets and door panels. The air conditioning has been converted to new refrigerant; it will need servicing to ensure proper operation. The car has a hard-top in excellent condition. The original hood nearing the end of its life, a new alpaca hood will be fitted for sale, leaving the choice of colour to its future owner.
