1960 MGA Roadster 1600
This is a good friend of mine’s MGA he has asked me to advertise it for him it belonged to a close friend of his until he passed away in 2022 he left it to my friend in his will he has known the car since the early 80’s
He was going to keep the car but due to lack of storage & time to use it he has decided to let it go.
It has had quite a lot done to it over the years & was taken off the road in 1983 for major work
The engine was rebuilt by Hogam’s in Manchester crank rebound new pistons new clutch
Fitted later electronic ignition (Accuspark)
New wiring alternator conversion spin off canister oil filter conversion stainless exhaust system
Spax suspension new hood & frame new side screens new seat covers new chrome headlights hardtop could be included in the sale
Overall it’s a good solid car but would benefit from being repainted the photo’s do flatter it a little bit could be used as it is or taken up to the next level by the next owner
Starts runs & drives but has done very little milage so will need recommissioning as a minimum
Comes with a large history file for all the work done & parts replaced over the years
Current V5C registered as Historic
