Launched in 1989, the Ferrari 348 TB represented a major step for the Italian carmaker. It was the last model to be developed by Enzo Ferrari himself, and the first to introduce a more modern longitudinally-mounted V8 engine with a transverse gearbox - inspired by the racing Ferrari 288 GTO. Designed by Pininfarina, the sharp lines and side intakes evoked the legendary Testarossa. Compared to its 328 GTB predecessor, the 348 TB was significantly more aggressive and technical, while the switch to electronics and a new chassis improved drivability. However, in early versions the car had its quirks - it was sensitive to geometry settings and tended to be restless at the limit, earning it the nickname 'baby Testarossa with a temper'. Still, over time it became iconic and is now one of the most sought-after youngtimers among collectors, especially when it comes to preserved pieces with unique modifications. This particular car is one of the first examples produced in 1989 and carries several unique features. It has different seats compared to the production version and, unlike later versions, does not include catalytic converters, giving it a rawer sound and better performance. The paintwork is original and the car's history is meticulously documented - the last owner owned it for a full ten years. The engine has undergone a complete refurbishment with documented invoices, including new throttle bodies, carbon intake and Tubi exhaust system. After a brake tune it makes around 330bhp and has only covered 4-5k miles since the last revision. Interesting details include the original carbon gearshift head from the Ferrari F50, and if interested, a rare OMP Challenge carbon-kevlar seat from the 348 Challenge race version can be obtained for the car.
