With a perfect interior, retrimmed in matching tartan, alloy gear knob and a hidden immobiliser for safety, it is very well presented inside and out, totally rust free and impeccable throughout. It drives just as well in the road, spacious and roomy inside, with two boots, there’s loads of space for touring. The 1, 800cc engine was rebuilt in 2019 too, with twin downdraught Webers fitted to rid the car of the troublesome fuel injection system, so it goes every bit as well as it looks. With the recent addition of a full stainless steel exhaust system, it sounds phenomenal too.
So as far as a 914 goes, it has had every box ticked and the history stacks up too, with original handbooks, spare keys, enthusiasts guides and invoices stacked high, it is as good as you’ll get.

As the pictures show, the car has a restored body 2016 - 2017, rebuilt engine with upgrades in 2019, a fresh interior and lots more. It is one of those cars that genuinely looks better in the flesh than it does in the photos! The paint is smooth, deep and lustrous, the interior is fresh and nicely fed with no sagging, brightwork is just that and the car runs and sounds just as nice as it looks.
This is a car that I’ve helped the last two owners into and we know very well. I think you’d be very hard pushed to find a better finished ‘70’s Porsche anywhere, it really is collector quality. It has just had a fresh Stainless-Steel Exhaust and will have an oil change before the new owner collects the car.
With a gigantic history folder documenting all its TLC, having had the engine refreshed and with mild upgrades in 2019, it really is on the money and ready to be enjoyed. The car comes with the private 914 number plate too, as the cherry on top!
