i bought this sierra from london just over a year ago as i wanted a proper mint, unwelded unpainted low miler, so i travelled 350miles for it, was sick of 140k rusty cars for sale at around £1200-1500, this is a very rare model only 39 left on the road and ive only ever seen another 1 this colour, anyway i bought the car completely standard right down to ford exhaust and wheel trims, when i bought it had done a genuine 33700 miles from new, it has service record and mots and the condition of everything it shows, sills, floor, chassis legs, inner wings all like new,
anyway i bought a 2. 9 ghia estate that was rotted as it was a genuine twin turbo technics converted from new, and i stripped everything needed to convet my car, the turbos were a bit smokey so i bought new minker spec t2s and new actuators, and sent the tt heads off to have new guides and stem seals, we put the car together with high tensile head bolts, hardened washers, new gaskets, all new fluids, everything, gearbox, diff, pas fluid, brake fluid coolant etc, fitted uprated engine mounts, k and n panel filter, minker heat shields, cosworth clutch, cosworth 4x4 magnex stainless exhaust which is a copy of ford system so retains all boxes not too loud, cosworth 4x4 koni shocks all round, cosworth 4x4 front brakes and brand new discs and pads yesterday, fitted early 2wd sapphire cosworth recaros and door cards which came from a low milage lhd car so match the dash carpet etc, cosworth steering wheel, it still has all 4 original ford mudflaps, dealership handbooks, tax disc holder, window sticker, 2x keys and keyrings
i also had a toad cat 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted and certified, also has a set of 5 rare sapphire cosworth 4x4 sharktooth wheels with as new bridgestone 205 tyres
i cant stress just how original and the condition of this low milage car is, i can take more pics if required, ive spent £6000+ building this car in 12 months and its a shame i cant find time to use it, milage is at moment 35600, so reliable and drives great and is putting out 250bhp and over 300lbs of torque, car was all set up and tuned by ava in glasgow, who have been a registered turbo technics installer/ agent since the early 1980s
all cosworth parts are discreet and doesnt take away the looks of the car as thats what i wanted

Can come on mondeo 16in 5 spoke alloy_escort cosworth look ones, need a refurb but good tyres for £3750, i will also inc the full set of steel wheels and alot of spares I have
im in no hurry to sell car its kept in a heated garage and will simply be kept for a few years where it will only increase in value as all sierras are now ie not intrested in silly offers
Really has to be seen to be appreciated
be diffrent everyone knows what an xr4x4 is not many knew ford made these for 1 year only
