this is a truly sad sale of my pride and joy.... so here goes its a 1996 petrol blue(this is a great ford colour) ford escort rs2000 mk6 2 wheel drive, since ive had it ive gone through it top to bottom with original ford motorcraft original ford parts over £4000 in reciepts in my ownership + 3 a4 box folders full of paperwork bills etc from previous owners plus the original handbooks, bill of sale all the old mots tax discs(its a ex passey & porter ford rs dealer of weston/ bristol demo car, the dvla v888 report/ history shows all the old owners... build number date time number made i have a copy of this plus rare sales brouchers etc i aso have 3 keys including the red master key its 90, 000 miles 5 months mot(only done 600 mile since last one and would easily pass another)ill put 6 months tax on it if asking price is paid, its had recent full clutch kit with the release bearing and the nightmare to change week in hospital clutch pedal ratchet/ quadrant(original ford parts used including new bushes spacers and shaft)its got the front ford focus st170 big 300mm discs/ mondeo st200 calipers brake flexi pipe conversion again these are all brand new recent parts plus the rear brakes have had recently all the cylinders shoes springs replaced, new hand brake cable new brake fluid new fuel filter iscv unit, new motorcraft plugs new motorcraft air filter new crankcase breather filter, fully flushed then ford oat pink/ red coolant new wheel bearings all round, new gearbox oil... and lots of other jobs.
oil and filter done every 1000miles with 5w-30 fully synthectic oil.. basically its been maintained regardless of cost even down to nuts bolts washers clips little things its got a diary of milage drove all jobs done etc
its got a genuine set of 4 8jx16 inch ford escort rs cosworth alloys that are in concourse condition inside and out no kerbing no marks with bridgestone 225/ 45/ 16 pontenza z rated tyres 6mm tread all round, genuine escort cosworth pop out/ opening rear windows genuine escort cosworth banana pod with guages on dash that actually looks factory fit even though its a mk5 dash item, genuine ford motorsport rs acessory pu_rim rear whale tail and lower spoiler not fiberglass, nomad tinted rear lights, hockey sticks + front splitter, cosworth side skirts, escort cosworth bonnet vents that are fuctional cut in these help alot with coil pack wiring melting/ drying out problems due to under bonnet heat, genuine morrete twin head lights, red rouse silicon hoses stainless steel exhaust from the cat back. the recaro interior is mint no wear on bolsters as i keep seat covers on, 6cd changer radio/ cd electric windows(1 shot drivers side window) electric mirrors, sunroof, rare electric drivers seat, heated screens. electric boot release
its had over 20ltrs of waxoyl including the box sections sills inner sills behind rear panels doors etc and anywhere i could get the stuff its got a 7ltrs of gloss black detailed painted underfloor not underseal the engine bay is shiny and has chrome/ alloy polished parts and a alloy strut brace, it gets washed & waxed twice weekly with autoglym and a coat of hd wax by myself the petrol blue paintwork has got a deep wet look shine and brings the green flake out in the petrol blue c5 mettalic paint.
it gets stored over winter months, if being picky it has small blisters on both rear arches but there solid arches and you can lift car up by them certainly not the usaul tat that would cut your hands to shreds the chasis rails are very good to, all the coil pack wiring and coils are ok its smartwatered and has a tracker fitted
its a very very quick car that suprises a few people without having to rag it to death the collins power chip makes a great difference the 2. 0 litre 16v engine is a strong engine gearbox is good to its not picky nicky cotton bud concourse it was built to be driven but its a very straight tidy very clean car inside outside underneath that a lot of people comment on that it looks stunning and really doesnt look 16 years old, turns many many heads its been 100% reliable and a joy to own.
its fully hpi clear with report i have ramps and lighting for inspection of underneath and welcome any inspection and will spend as much time as you want going over it the reason for sale is work commitments over in ireland so its just isnt being used so i dont want it gathering dust id rather somebody enjoy it, sorry no px cash sale only i insure it on a classic policy please ring upto 9pm week days/ weekends
