What makes the Stag special is the blend of Michelotti design and Triumph engineering combining performance and comfort as standard: V8 engine with alloy cylinder heads and overhead camshafts; fully independent suspension; the convenience of gearlever operated overdrive, power steering and electric windows; in a two door 4 seater convertible body with either hard or soft tops. Perfectly proportioned and a unique proposition when first released in 1971 and still turning heads today.
The combination of British Racing Green exterior paint and the original tan vinyl interior is itself a classic combination, but with the Triumph V8 burble added to the mix, the Stag represents the very best of the Triumph marque.
