I have decided to sell my great driving cortina 1600E
Resprayed Red from it's original Silver Fox Grey in 2000
The paint whilst on the whole being acceptable has small blemishes in most areas and now require further TLC.
Ideally it needs a respray , though I would certainly drive for a year or two then have it done over a quiet winter.
The car pulls extremely well well through all the gears and holds the road well as the 1600E model had Lotus suspension and tramp bars as standard .
Priced at £ 4250 for a quick sale these cars mostly fetch £6000 plus for good examples like this one and their values are rising quickly
I have just put on a new clutch slave cylinder and replaced a core plug that was weeping slightly then I got a fresh 12 months MOT for the new owner
Great history - 13 old MOT to prove low mileage and a copy of the original bill of sale from 1970.
