Porsche 914. 1974 (will be free road tax once UK registered). California import. Registered on the NOVA system (Notification Of Vehicle Arrival) with reference number proving import duties paid. This description is backed up with a link taking you to approx 100 photos. The bodyshell is in solid and straight condition. All areas of the car are featured in the photos and the only rust spotted during the photo session worth mentioning are the battery tray in the engine compartment and the very rear of the rear luggage area, easily repaired. External body work is very straight, has a few minor dings/ marks, panels fit is good. There is repairable damage to the left sill cover. The paintwork is badly faded and has a lot of sun damage. The interior is in restoreable condition without too much work or expense. The seats will need some attention (not a complete recover) door trims are good, dash has a couple of cracks fortunately not too bad and easily repaired. Instruments and controls appear to be in good condition (although operation unchecked). The targa top fits and removes a s it should. The alloys including spare will be presentable with a polish. The underside of the car is clean and rot free, suspension components are clean, exhaust system looks to be solid. No attempt has been made to start the car. Someone has removed the fuel pump (presumably it's faulty), it is with the car. A battery has never been fitted so none of the electrics have been checked. The engine is not seized (checked by pushing the car in gear) and the oil is up to level and looks very clean on the dipstick. The car is badged as a 2. 0, there is no reason to assume it's not a 2. 0 but the engine number has not been checked to confirm, so what you see is what you get. The brake pedal is still firm and the car moves easily, so no brakes binding on. For about 100 photos :
