Mk 2 Cortina Crayford 1600GT
As you can see from the pictures this is a completely rust free Crayford that has had extensive restoration by a Cortina fanatic. Any welding that has been carried out has been made to look factory on the factory seams. Under the bonnet is in the same excellent condition as underneath the car. Whereas the paint underneath the car is excellent, the paint on the bonnet and bootlid is quite crazed. Everything on this car is either new, new old stock or reconditioned. All running gear is like new and only minor work is needed for the MOT - it needs a 1600GT brake master cylinder as the one fitted is off of a normal cortina and as the bore is too small, has too much pedal travel; an offside headlight as the glass is broken and an offside rear indicator bulb holder. It has a good hood with a clear back window. The interior is excellent with no rips and tears. It comes with a hood cover for when the roof is down and a torneau cover for when you can't be bothered to put the roof up. All in all this is a very nice car that needs very minor work. I believe this is a bargain at £3, 000.
