Series 1 Alfa 164 2. 0 ts Lusso for sale with over 11 months Mot. Year 1991. Only 4 previous owners! Mileage is 154000 but the condition and way it drives would indicate half that figure, a testament to these cars and the previous owners who have obviously cherished it.
The car is very solid with no dents, underneath extremely good with zero rot. Paintwork again Super with only minor marks expected for a car that is 26 years old. Exhaust system very good. Engine bay very clean.
I have recently fitted four tires with 7mm tread, wheels balanced, new valves. Also brand new oil pressure sensor fitted for gauge to work properly.
For its MOT the only advisories were front drop link bushes and rear trailing arm to Chassis bushes. These I have subsequently replaced with new. The rear bushes are Powerflex items. I wanted to present the car for sale as good as possible for the next owner.
Original Radio/ cassette works perfectly. All electrics work throughout the car. The only minor thing is a slight whine from the Alternator but it is barely noticeable and does not affect the car in any way. I'm just being picky and honest. Boot floor is rock solid.
Seats are clean, no holes etc, some stitching coming apart on rear seat which I've attempted to sew up, again, minor detail.
The car drives lovely with very responsive acceleration and good brakes which I have completely stripped down on all four corners and cleaned/ reassembled with Copper-slip.
Sunroof works perfectly too.
I've likely done much more but I just can't recall right now.
So, nearly a years MOT, zero advisories now, starts every time, drives superb, new bushes, tires and everything works!!
I'm not looking for a fortune, just a sensible offer. Money will be spent on my other Alfa 164. I'm an Alfaholic so you can be assured I've gone through this car carefully and properly to the best of my ability and knowledge. Further photos upon request.
