This Escort has spent all it, s life in South Africa, which probably has the perfect climate for car preservation.
All taxes and duties have been paid, the car is NOVA registered and i supply proof.
The Escort will come with a dating letter from a DVLA authorised Ford Escort Club, so the DVLA will accept the letter for registration purposes, as per a logbook. A NOVA letter will also be supplied to prove all taxes and duties have been paid.

This was a two owner car from new.
The first owner was a school teacher, she purchased the car new in 1974 and sold it in 2015. She then sold it to another teacher (from the same school) who was going to restore it, but obviously he never got very far.
Picture 1 is of the car in South Africa. The Escort is pictured in the school yard and the original owner is still a teacher there to this day.
Overall a good solid car but will need some restoration.
No sunroof. I try to avoid buying cars with aftermarket sunroofs, they look crap, leak, are inappropriate for race/ track use, weaken the shell and near on impossible to find parts for.
Still has original rear arches.
This is a genuine 1600cc model, as the following confirms,
Front discs brakes.
Brake servo.
Build plate (last pic) confirms this as an original 1600cc model and it, s original interior, exterior colours.
1600cc engine, with 711M 6015 BA block, which is the much improved thicker walled block.
I have got the engine running via a remote fuel supply. The engine sounds great, no smoke, funny noises or anything else it should not do.
This is an early shell car, with shocks on a bracket and not in the boot.
Very good original dash.
Very good inner wings.
Rear floors are very good.
Very good boot area.
Bottom of both doors are excellent and original, inside seam is perfect.
"A" posts are excellent and hinges are solid and secure.
Road tax exempt.
Has the wider type wheels fitted, i also have the centre caps.
Bad Bits,
Front floors will need changing/ repairing on both sides.
Lower front valence needs sorting.
O/ S front wing lower section has come away.
The rest can more or less be seen in the pictures.
The car is a project and needs work.
Delivery can be arranged, but car will have to be paid for in full beforehand.

MOT vehicle on vin and SA number plate.
Insurance is no longer needed (to register).
Fill out form V55.
SA logbook (which i supply) or dating letter.
Two forms of ID.
Send to the DVLA and you will have a V5 in 7-10 days.
