Here we have a fine example of a Triumph Speed Twin with 'bathtub' from 1960
It has matching numbers and the bathtub is metal, not a fibreglass copy
The gearbox is smooth and selects well
Slight perishing of the front tyre as pictured
It was recently subjected to an engine fettle (by the previous owner) and has +. 40 pistons, at the same time the valves were lapped - photos available
We have just fitted a new Amal Concentric carb and Boyer Bransden ignition system and power box so it is now 12V negative earth, runs superb and has decent lights
