The Fiat 500 has been the definitive city car since the iconic first generation originally rolled out of a Turin factory six decades ago now, and this stunning example proves precisely why they're still so sought after.
A 2009 1. 2 Lounge model, it has covered just 55k miles and has had only one lady owner from brand new. There's a full service history which makes it clear that it has had no expense spared whatsoever. The current MoT runs through to January next year and flicking through the history from VOSA proves that, unbelievably, it has never in its life had a single advisory notice on any MoT test! As such, it drives absolutely flawlessly and, likewise, looks pretty much spotless inside and out.
It boasts the usual Lounge enhancements including the 15" alloy wheels, glass roof, air conditioning, Blue&Me media system, chrome trim inside and out plus much more, and this one even has a few optional extras added on top. It includes the ASR traction control system usually only found on the Sport models, the Italian flag exterior detailing and the chrome A-bar bumper trim, making it almost a unique offering in the crowd of 500's available out there.
It still maintains the same cute charm and minimal running costs, though. An average fuel consumption of 55MPG, road tax for just £30 a year and even your insurance premiums won't break the bank, falling into Group 6 out of 50. Also included is a comprehensive 3-month warranty and 3-month complimentary AA cover to boot, just to increase the already impressive cost-effectiveness.
Without a doubt one of the nicest 500s we've been lucky enough to come across here at italicar, this is truly a fantastic little car.
