Hi I am reluctantly selling my Land rover series 2a Ambulannce camper, it is an ex military vehicle manufactured in 1971, but first registered for the road in 1977, It is Tax exempt and has an Mot until March 2018.
The Land rover has had a very basic wild camper conversion, it comes complete with two adult and one raised child bunk, plenty of storage, 240volt hook up cable, as I stated very basic but could be improved further to suit your needs, the Land rover is Mechanically and structurally sound after having been renovated in 2016 by an independent Land rover dealer Black Paw 4x4 services of York, at this time it had and engine conversion to a 200 tdi coupled to an LT7 5 speed gearbox, it has many new parts which include, Radiator, exhaust. suspension, brakes and much more. The land rover had been previously used by St Johs ambulance on mountain rescue duties, it has not been an RAF vehicle, the current livery is our own personal touch, the Land rover has previously also been owned by a company called The Overlanders who took it to South America to do some touring.
The Land rover is ready to be used, it is quite a unique vehicle and always attracts much admiration, I am open to sensible offers
