1967 FERRARI 330 P4 Recreation, 1, 000 miles, With only 3 Original P4's ever built, valued at over £20million, owning one with be next to impossible for most. This P4 recreation is as close as you will get to the real thing for a fraction of the cost. This P4 recreation has an interesting spec and history, and will make a great car for occasional road use, racing or for display amongst the rest of your collection It is based on a Lee Noble chassis built in the 80s with a Glass Fibre P4 style Body. The engine is now a hand built, all aluminium, Ferrari 2. 4 Dino V6. This was rebuilt by Farranti Engineering of Preston, who specialise in Ferrari's of this era, and fully setup in the car. The exhaust was handmade at a cost of over £3, 000, and it pops and bangs as you would expect from such a wonderful looking machine. The wheels are magnesium _knock-offÓ Ferrari _DaytonaÓ style original items fitted with period tyres and the brakes are a vented Wilwood setup as per the original P4s also had. All the suspension was revised so it drives as good as it looks. The car has a Ferrari Chassis plate with matching details to the registration, V5, Chassis and engine. The interior was also made, as close to the original P4 as possible, and features Rosso leather seats, Sabelt race harnesses and period Ferrari look alike clocks. It also has a fire extinguisher in the footwell and a plumbed in system in the engine bay. The car is fully road legal and correctly registered as a 1967 Ferrari, therefore is Road Tax exempt in the UK and can be brought into Ireland for a minimal VRT amount There are a number of similar shaped replica P4s around ranging from £50, 000 to £500, 000, this one we feel is a good honest car that is very well built with original dated components that would catch many of a motoring enthusiast out with its authenticity. Charles Hurst Ferrari have carried out some enhancements as required, a fully safety check as well as completing a new MOT . Something of which is no mean feat in Northern Ireland due to the intensity of our Government MOT test! Along with the car we have several files of information including over £20, 000 worth of service upgrades between 2005-2007 by the previous owner.
