MGB GT Limited Edition no 538, in LE Pewter Grey Metallic, first registered in 1981 to the Montagu family (of Beaulieu Motor Museum fame) and kept by them for the first 19 years.
Subsequently owned by the editor of Practical Classics who restored it as one of their feature cars during 2013\14 and plays a starring role in some of their Skillshack videos.
Previously fitted with an Ivor Searle engine, fitted by PC with a number of extras including a stainless exhaust, electronic ignition, suspension upgrades, soundproofing and K&N filters (full list available). The car has been fitted with a new set of Firestone tyres all round this year.
As well as significant service history and receipts, the car also comes with a number of MGB books and spares including a car cover and also has Don Hayter’s signature on the boot lid!
Mileage approximately 70, 000 miles with an MOT until late March 2018, currently SORN for the winter.
