A very original little Fiesta, which has unfortunately just failed its MOT, and therefore is being sold as a project or spares vehicle. I would say there is a case for fixing it because it has covered low mileage (53000 indicated) and is exceptionally original, the only aftermarket addition being rear seat belts. However, it would also be an excellent parts car for the same reason; the interior in particular is in beautiful original condition. I have three extra hub caps, which will go with the car - nice because they're hard to come by.
The car has been converted to run on unleaded. It runs and drives fine, but is currently SORN, so will need to be towed or trailered away. Comes with log book, manuals, two keys and recent history. MOT failure on the following points: Registration lamp not working; Excessive play on offside track rod end ball joint; Excessive play on nearside front suspension lower ball joint; Excessive corrosion on nearside rear suspension; Excessive carbon monoxide exhaust emissions. Advisory notes from MOT: offside front tyre close to legal limit; Nearside brake disk slightly pitted; Slight play in offside and nearside rear wheel bearings. Not mentioned in the MOT: Rust is becoming an issue generally, it needed work on its previous MOT for that reason. Rear fog lamp doesn't work. Rear wiper doesn't work (wires have sheared between the bootlid and frame). Radio has stopped working; worth fixing because it is the original. I believe that the worn tyre mentioned in the MOT advisory notes is due to the wheel being out of alignment vertically.
Put simply, this car requires work, and I don't have the time or money to carry it out. Hopefully there is someone out there who can give it a new lease of life.
