Low owners and low miles of circa 72k. Every mot from the 1st in 1992 right to present day . Dealer service stamps every year from new thru to 2009.
This is a superb example in one of the best colors available . This is investment quality and with all iconic Fords increasing in value at double the rate of most classics this car is great to own . Apart from value the enjoyment from this 80s icon is immense .
My XR3i is ready to go and show. Recent work includes new coil and leads , new fuel pump, new exhaust. to mention a few .
The paintwork is close to faultless and the Red has a real deep shine and lusture.. All the light lenses are like new . The glass is scratch free.. The weather seals are all A1. The tonneau cover is present and in excellent condition. The interior is excellent and you can tell this is a low mileage , pampered car . Previous owner was an owners club member and his care shows. The original Ford radio is still present and the manual for this is in the history file . The seats show very little wear and have no faults.. This XR3I comes with electric windows from factory and they are working fine. Underneath the car is very clean and tidy . On inspection new brake pipes and new brake calipers can be seen.
The engine and engine bay are just brilliant and are in my opinion show standard . Someone has obviously spent a lot of time and money in this area showing attention to detail . Driving the XR is a pleasure . It is tight and there are no annoying rattles or squeeks.
To sum up at an average price that can only go northwards with the Ford market on fire at the moment . This is the best color and in brilliant condition . Add to this the mileage and low owner and coming from an enthusiast this surely wont last long and will be difficult to replace..
