I will p/ ex for an Evo 6 or Integrale Evo 1 plus (obviously) cash from me.
This Lancia has just been shipped over from Johannesburg, which has the perfect climate for motor vehicles. Even though this car is a light restoration project, it is good to know the last 40 odd years were spent in the South African sun!
Car is NOVA registered. All taxes, vat have been paid by myself and i supply a customs letter as proof.
I will supply the original SA logbook and a full receipt.
Good Points,
The car starts on the button, no smoke or rattles.
An original RHD car.
Excellent interior.
Brakes, clutch and gears all feel good.
Dashboard has not been ruined by the fitment of a radio.
This Fulvia has the 5 speed dog leg gearbox.
Unlike the UK cars, which had staggered headlights, due to UK regulations at the time the South African models (as per the Italian models) had the much prettier level headlights.
The subframe mounting points look very solid, as far as i can tell.
The Fulvia has the correct vin number for a series 2 car 818631.
Also the correct engine number for a 1300cc engine 818303.
Heater works.
All dials work.
All lights work.
Super straight solid bodywork, this car is not full of filler.
I can find no signs of previous welding.
It, s a genuine rhd car.
No sunroof. I try to avoid buying cars with aftermarket sunroofs, they are inappropriate for track cars, leak, are near on impossible to get parts for and look crap.
It is a very solid light restoration project.
Bad Bits,
Bonnet and bootlid have areas that have been painted in primer.
Offside outer sill will need replacing/ repair.
Drivers side floor will need some welding, previously unwelded
Passenger side footwell needs a very small amount of welding, previously unwelded.
Brakes are binding.
The registration process is very simple and i can advise on the procedure.
