Description
Nice looking 1989 3rd generation Pontiac Firebird with the take out glass T top roof.
All in nice working order. Recent repaint in a really strong red. I have found no rust anywhere on the car.
Drivers seat needs repairing (small splits in bottom swab).
All electrics working including cruise and power windows & pop up headlights.
New MOT on purchase. Registered off road and kept in barn on my farm.
THIS CAR DOES NOT GO OUT IN WET WEATHER and has only been driven to shows or events in the last year. Recently in the centre pages of the local papers at the Coleford Carnival of Transport.
Nice big original alloy wheels with virtually new tyres all round. With the wide wheels and low centre if gravity this car goes round corners like it is on rails.
There are NO scary noises or rattles from cold.
No smoke whatsoever from the very active fast engine considering it is a downsized 2. 8 ltr.
Don't let the small V6 put you off, this car will really go.
I am asking £3, 595 including the private plate and I am open to sensible offers or would like to hear from anyone who has a left hand drive American car of around the same value and might like to talk about a swap with possible cash adjustment. I don't mind muscle or sedan / coupe.
PLease no offers of a swap with any European junk. I am only interested in American cars of note. This is the ideal car to go to American shows in and won't break the bank in the gas station on the way. I have been getting around 30 MPG on unleaded fuel. It uses no water or oil and doesn't leave any dirty drip marks on your drive or garage floor.
This is the body they used for the Knight Rider series. They just changed the nose cone and crammed it full of electrical gadgets. If you feel like a change or are looking for a fairly priced classic. I am near Chepstow Racecourse and the old Severn Crossing.
Thanks, Richard.
