1947 MG TC

Highlights

  • High-quality restoration completed around 5 years ago
  • Only 1,361 miles (2,190 km) since restoration
  • Belgian registered
  • Roadworthiness valid until April 2027

The Plus

The first post-war MG, the TC may not have been a very advanced car, but it was a breath of fresh air for a population in search of renewal. The British sports car was fast becoming a work of art, and the TC was arguably the forerunner of that. When American soldiers returned home, they often took these little British marvels with them. Despite its somewhat old-fashioned lines, the TC was the epitome of style, and it was the first MG model to sell more than 10,000 units.

Restored from a bare chassis, this 1947 TC has been meticulously refurbished and now sports a superb British Racing Green livery with beige leather interior. Five years after its restoration, it has covered just 1,361 miles (2,190 km) and still looks stunning - a magnificent reinterpretation of this iconic post-war roadster.

Supplied with a Technical Inspection valid until April 2027, this car is an exceptional classic that will undoubtedly delight its future owner.
