The Appeal
The 997 took what was great about the 996 and added a return to classic oval headlamp aesthetics. There was also more power, particularly if you ticked the box for the ‘S’ package, which increased displacement to 3.8L, hiked power to 360bhp and sharpened the driving experience with the PASM package and brakes.
This car has that desirable option plus other extras like the Sport Chrono package and a recently fitted £2,300 upgrade to the modern PCCM+ system that gives Apple and Android connectivity. There is also the versatile Tiptronic sequential semi-automatic gearbox.
Finished in Atlas Grey with black leather, it is a very low-mileage car showing under 24,000 documented miles from new. It has been well maintained by main dealers and specialists. In recent years, it has been entrusted to Zuffenhaus in Birmingham. Work has included rear discs and pads, coolant crossover kit and tandem pump at 22,597 miles in 2022 and a full service and brake fluid change immediately prior to sale in July 2025. The MOT runs to July 2026 with no advisories.
The vendor says:
“As a 2007 model, the car has 24000 miles and drives wonderfully on the UK's challenging roads.
“Acceleration, acoustic joy and the sweet smell of petrol will make me sorry to see it go, but needs must!”
