A true icon, it's without doubt this beautiful, fully restored 1970 Dodge Challenger. During the restoration, this car was completely rebuilt as an R/ T version. The all-new revised 440ci engine block was then converted to a 500ci. This beautiful classic American muscle car arrived in the Netherlands in the late 1990s and in 2010 the car was fully professionally restored to like-new condition. No expense has been spared. The 727 High Performance automatic gearbox is new, and the entire transmission (drive shafts, differential, etc.) has also been completely renewed. The car has been completely repainted in this beautiful turquoise colour. The all-new black leather interior is a perfect combination, and the paintwork and various chrome parts and trim are still in very good condition. The various rubber parts are also in very good condition. It's clear that this beautiful icon of motoring history has been lovingly cared for. The interior is also still in exceptional (almost new) condition. The dashboard is still in excellent condition and all the instruments work properly. Not only does the car have new leather upholstery, but the carpet has also been renewed. The seats are very comfortable and good, and when you open the bonnet, everything sparkles. It's as if the car had just come from the factory, everything is so beautiful, clean and tidy. The complete restoration and overhaul was expertly carried out by the renowned specialist Pedal to the Medal. This is an original SE version, which has been fully adapted into an R/ T version. This 1970 Dodge Challenger has been restored to perfection. The exhaust system has been replaced with a specially hand-crafted stainless steel exhaust. What else can be said about driving this wonderfully manoeuvrable muscle car? Not only does this car look very pure, it also drives like one. The wonderfully raw exhaust note and the engine that runs smoothly and with plenty of power are just some of the ingredients for a wonderful experience. It's definitely real driving. The brakes feel solid, the car rolls very smoothly and the accelerator pedal responds quickly to a little pressure. We're not exaggerating when we say that we're really impressed by this incredible power.
