After the First World War, Fiat refreshed its range and replaced the Tipo 2 with the new 505, which was produced in over 30, 000 units between 1919 and 1925 and proved successful. The Fiat 505 was powered by a four-cylinder inline engine with a capacity of 2296 cc and a power output of 33 bhp.
The car offered here for sale is a Fiat 505 Torpedo from 1920. It is in very good condition; the bodywork was built by Balbo in Turin and is very solid, the paint (aged) on the body is in good condition. Ideally the wings should be repainted, the wood is very sound, the floor and chassis are identical, the original seats are in good condition, the soft top must be renewed.
Delivered in 1920 to a certain Italian named Francioli, who has settled in Haute-Savoie and specialises in wine (owner’s name badge present). Vehicle registration document present.
