Description

This iconic Porsche 356B from the T6 series of June 1963, serial number 125195 Matching numbers, one of the last to be built at Reutter, boasts 88, 906 miles on the clock in Champagne Yellow (6205) Matching colours, black imitation leather upholstery, door panels, almost new grey carpets, body-coloured dashboard and roof lining, all in very good condition. The bodywork and paintwork are in very good condition, and when the car is put on deck, it is found to be structurally sound and free from the slightest trace of corrosion. This Porsche 356BT6 Super, from our sector, with its 4 cylinders, 1582cc (Type 616/ 12), 75hp, 4 speed manual gearbox, central stainless steel exhaust system and beautiful rims repainted as original. The 356 was the marque's 1st sports model with an AR engine, designed by Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry (a fine stroke of the pen!) and bearing the German manufacturer's name; 4 disc brakes and 15' wheels, quite innovative for the time. The 356 was the 1st stage of the Porsche rocket, which took off successfully, and the 2nd stage would be the 911, another emblematic model. This Porsche, with its 'outlaw' styling, had very clean lines, curved wheel trims and teardrop-shaped rear lights with integrated indicators. The interior is bright and spacious, especially with the folding rear seats. The perceived quality is amazing for this era and at this level of the range, it's "Deutsches Qualität". The road test was convincing; with its sporting origins, it is very sound in terms of handling; once you get going, you get into the swing of things and want to pick up the pace, especially as the 4-speed gearbox is easy to use. It's not fussy, but it's incredibly charming, with its crisp lines and robust powertrain. With its sporty looks, the 356 has aroused passions to this day. This passion is due to the originality that sets it apart in every aspect of its design, and gives it a very strong personality. Its eternal youth has earned it all the superlatives; a mythical era during which Porsche created its legend for eternity. The 356 will always be the first; it's different and no two cars are alike. Come and get behind the wheel to discover and appreciate it. 9hp registration, workshop overhaul. New owner's registration not included. In addition, €150 roadworthiness fee. Delivery/ Pick-up possible
