Introduced in 1984, the Ferrari Testarossa replaced the Ferrari 512 BBi and was itself replaced after various versions (512 TR and 512 M) in 1996 by the Ferrari 550 Maranello, which this time, as Enzo Ferrari liked to say, was powered by a front V12. The Testarossa, meanwhile, retained the architecture of the 70s and 80s, with a flat 12-cylinder engine in a central rear position, developing 380 bhp.
Thanks to its legendary looks and performance, and at a time when Ferrari was doing rather well, the Ferrari Testarossa was clearly a great success for the brand. Its appearances in cinematic roles certainly had something to do with it too. More than 7, 000 Ferrari Testarossas were produced, not to mention more than 2, 000 in the 512 TR version (produced from 1992 to 1994) and 500 (limited production) Ferrari 512Ms (from 1994 to 1996).
NYC's/ OXOTO is offering for sale a superb red car with black leather interior and 107, 000 km, delivered new in August 1991 by Ferrari importer Kroymans in the Netherlands. Thanks to the perfect follow-up of its maintenance (in official Ferrari dealerships and then at recognised specialists) and the follow-up of the car pass, we have perfect traceability of its history and follow-up. According to our information, it has had 4 Belgian owners, the second of whom drove it extensively (around 40, 000 km). The third owner spent a lot of money on it before selling it to its current owner at the end of 2018. The latter sold it via NYC's to a Frenchman in 2022 before buying it back a few months later. The car is registered in Belgium but has already been registered in France, which it automatically recovers.
The bodywork looks really good, there's absolutely nothing to say about it: not a single scratch, not a single stone chip, not a single dent. It looks really great and can be considered to be in showroom condition. It's even certain that it meets the standards of preservation required by Ferrari Classiche. The front bumper and both front wings were repainted less than 5 years ago.
The interior is just as good, in truly concours condition! The seats, the dashboard, the carpets, the pedals (a known problem with the Testarossa), the roof lining etc... Everything is in excellent condition!
As far as the mechanics are concerned, they have been perfectly looked after! Over €20, 000 worth of work has been carried out in the last 5 years. It drives really well, and has travelled 200 kms to our premises without the slightest problem. The last 2 owners have been very careful with this superb Ferrari Testarossa.
We have a quote from a well-known Ferrari specialist who can redo the major maintenance (including the timing belt). The sale price includes this servicing with the quote that we have and can provide. As can be seen from the photos, the car is 100% original (seat, wheels, logo, etc.).
