Bodywork completely free of corrosion: sills, floor, rockers, wheel arches, engine bay, battery tray, in perfect original condition with no rust or accidents. Nothing has been hidden or masked! First series 914 with chromed bumpers. Car matching numbers: engine, doors, bonnets and gearbox are original.
Original interior in excellent condition: seats, door panels, dashboard, original carpeting, floor mats. Speedometer in kilometres, Blaupunkt radio from 1970. Engine original but prepared for sport: 10, 000 km since full professional rebuild with the best performance parts available: lightened crankshaft, 2100 cc engine bore, forged pistons, heads with large valves prepared and aligned. Electronic ignition. Weber 44 IDF carburettors. 2-litre intercoolers, sport exhaust with two outlets under the rear bumper. 5-speed gearbox with all new linkages. 140 hp at 6, 500 rpm. Front and rear anti-roll bars, adjustable Bilstein shocks—very effective yet comfortable. External oil radiator with fan, four new tyres. Bearings, bushings, rubber, and silent blocks all new. Original electrical system and wiring loom in perfect condition. Everything is perfectly functional and original in a car that has never been restored, with a very nice patina; a repaint done several decades ago which is not perfect, but allows confident driving, and a very sharp and reliable mechanicals.
