Description
Jaguar XK150 3. 4 litre FHC, year 1958.
Chassis number S834564, original engine. Exterior and interior colours are also original. Matching numbers and colours, confirmed by a Jaguar Heritage certificate.
The car is stunning in its original Dark British Racing Green colour, combined with a brown leather interior. This fantastic Jaguar XK 150 3. 4-litre Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) was sold new in New York, USA. In 2018, it was imported to the Netherlands from Florida.
This is a very special car, a never-restored survivor in good, if not very good, original condition! All the interior paintwork on the doors, bonnet and boot is still original; the exterior was repainted at one time in its original colour. The interior, which is 67 years old, is entirely original and shows signs of wear.
Mechanically, the car has always been perfectly maintained and repaired when necessary.
The odometer shows 72, 000 miles and the engine, Moss four-speed gearbox, overdrive, transmission, suspension and brakes all work perfectly.
The paintwork was thoroughly polished a few years ago.
The Jaguar XK 150 is a classic, racy super sports car.
The in-line six-cylinder engine, also used in the legendary Jaguar C-Type and D-Type Le Mans racers, produced an impressive 210 bhp and 290 Nm of torque in the road-going XK 150.
Like the racing cars, the XK 150 was fitted with Dunlop disc brakes on all four wheels.
This magnificent original survivor is a rare find, as most cars from the 1950s no longer exist or have been completely restored.
