Once warmed up, the engine revs normally. The gearbox engages all 4 gears without a hitch, especially the synchros, and the clutch grip is good. As is often the case with older cars, the engine/ gearbox/ axle seal remains average. Chassis: Our test drive confirmed that the body was sound, with no visible signs of impact or corrosion, as the photos show. The fundamentals, such as the floor, boot, engine compartment, side members, rocker panels and wheel arches, are in good condition.
During our road test we did not find anything abnormal concerning the road handling of this Austin Healey MKIII BJ8. The braking is balanced and biting. Interior: The interior has been restored while retaining its original appearance, upholstery, carpeting, etc. Body: Our Austin Healey MKIII BJ8 comes in a white colour and is in very good condition.
